I have been through a lot in my little 19 years. I look at life portal and say i wish they had this site when i was younger. I look back at what i went through and think of how i felt. I was lonely and felt like i was not wanted. I was scared and lost. I needed a sense of direction or someone just to talk to give me some advice. Life Portal i think is the most helpful and updated site that anyone can use to find what they need. now only if there were more sites like this. But unfortunately  not everyone believes that. if everyone had a voice and shared their stories maybe people would understand what we are going through then maybe they would believe us and try to help us with more programs. Here on the life Portal site you can do that. You can do more than that as you can see. If we all share our stories and our experience just maybe someone will listen and take action. I know so many youth that need help but can not receive the help they need cause they do not fit the needs of being a foster child or in the system. If everyone would just look deeper in to the cities they will see not a lot if youth end up in those situations but really need the help. Now in our society a lot of youth do not share what they are going through cause they may be labeled or are scared of or what others would think of them. We need to put that all to the side cause here that is not going to happen. You yourself can be one of the many voices to get the programs that we need to succeed in life or to even get us back on our feet. Life Portal can just be that spot to let your voice be heard and hear others stories. You can even add stuff that you think is important or helpful to others. life portal is where you can be yourself and get the information you need from my point of view and i am glad its here now and available.
