I CAN NEVER RIGHT ALL MY WRONGS
NO MATTER HOW MUCH I WANT TO.
SO, THERE’S STILL ONE QUESTION THAT REMAINS.
WHAT CAN I DO?
STILL RUNNING FROM MY PAST,
FLASHBACKS HIT ME EVERYDAY.
SEEING PEOPLE’S FACES FOR THE LAST TIME
THE ARGUEMENT WE HAD IS STILL HERE TO STAY.
IT’S HELLA HARD TO THROW AWAY,
HEAD SPINNING,
HEART-BREAKING.
TRUTHFULLY, IM OUT OF TEARS.
I’M DONE WITH ALL THAT CRAP ESPECIALLY FROM PAST YEARS.
WHY SHOULD I THINK ABOUT MY FUTURE?
SHOULDN’T I JUST LIVE MY DAYS AS THEY COME?
WRITE INSTEAD OF TALK
CRY INSTEAD OF SING
REMAIN SILENT INSTEAD OF LAUGH
I’M TRYING NOT TO EXPLODE.
I'LL HIDE
MY MADNESS
MY HATRED
MY SADNESS
JUST HIDE IT ALL AWAY.
LOCKED IN A SAFE,
MY NUMBNESS REACHES WAY PAST THIRD BASE
WHY CANT I RIGHT ALL MY WRONGS?
CAN ANYONE HELP ME UNDERSTAND
INSTEAD OF LIVING A TOTAL LIE?
SO WHAT CAN I DO?

this poem is great it brings memories of the past but as i can see it looks like you been hurt its better to keep your head up high and always think about your future and leave the past alone because things happen for reasons no matter what it is
Hi, Anaya. Thinking about your future and taking it a day at a time are one in the same — the more that your everyday actions reflect the person that you want to be, the more you will enjoy every day.
Being truthful about the past's place in your life — "out of tears" — is the first step. What are the others? Great poem.
