Capital punishment is the death penalty. There are two sides to this controversial issue. Some may say let the person die for the crime they have committed. Others still may say let them fry or be poisoned for the pain and tears he/ she has caused the family to feel. Let the animal that brutally and without remorse be killed, it’s the only way to get pay back., It’s the only way for him/ her to feel what they made the victim feel in his/ her last min of breathe. It’s an eye for a eye and a tooth for a tooth. You choose to take your own life away by taking someone else’s. If you don’t want the death penalty then live your life as your suppose to.

What would it accomplish to put someone on death row?  The victim is already dead. You cannot bring them back. Why should we be as cruel as the murderer and kill them? Although killers deserve justice, we shouldn’t stoop down to that level and kill who has already killed. Does it make us better than them that we can kill because we choose to hide behind the law? Using the law as an excuse to do whatever we want, when we want still does not make it right. Trying other ways to make a murderer suffer would suffice. Killing a killer is more of an easy way out for him/ her. Where would the pay back come from by putting someone out of there misery?…

Personally, I think it depends on the case. On one side I feel that nobody should have the power to take another persons life. That’s god’s job. On the other hand, if a person has killed repeatedly and has been given many chances to clean up their act and they still haven’t, then they deserve what ever is coming from them. In all reality, freedom is relative because people in jail and people out of jail are still not living free. People out of jail still have laws to follow and there’s still a curfew (in some cities). So if you really think we are all free, we aren’t. We might have different restrictions from out of jail and when we are on the street but if you really think about it, we all still have to follow rules and listen to officers. That’s something to think about.
