Who would have thought that by walking into the RYSE center i would get choosen to become a DJT member? NOOOOO who would have thought I would be stuck with 6 crazy starngers? I do mean crazy in a good way but I sure did not expect it. Team building? you hear the term everywhere but its easier said than done in most cases. But luckily for me, i have had the honor of working with some very talented individuals.

It has almost been a year and it seems as if time flew by. I didnt expect to form the relationships i did with these people but as posted in previous blogs, each one has something special to offer. By being in a team many of us learn new things not only about others but also about ourselfs. Some of us learned that there is no "I" in team and working together is beneficial to all.

The group projects, mini outings, text messages, movie night are all things,in my opinion, that contribute to building a team. Because a team is a team when their relationship and abilities are able to  prosper  outside of their comfort zone. I think that we have done a great job so far in that field. Want proof? Were still here? We are the biggest team still at RYSE and we continue to strive and work to our fullest capabilities.Overall i learned that support and encouragement are the two neccessary ingredients in building a team without it we whould not be a team, above all behind evry great team is a strong leader who made them that way , and i just want to give a shout out to the DJT adult team lead DAN , and student lead TANIA!
