What are the latest news at RYSE?!?! Well if you're really wondering, last week on the 30th of October we, the RLT and RYSE staff, celebrated RYSE's second anniversary. How did we do that? Well we had a halloween event that included our AMAZING haunted house. Our theme was "Nightmare on Elm St" and had a couple of Freddie Krueger's running around. We also managed to scare a lot of people by grabbing ankles and making them want to run for their lives. We had some activities in the front space which included a costume contest and I saw the most cutest costume ever! It was a little boy dressed as a pirate! Overall I think this event went smoothly. Not only was I working but I was having fun as well. Time flew by, before I knew it we were taking everything apart to clean up. We had a great turnout of people attending. We had volunteers left and right, and everything was just amazing. There's no other word for it. There was stress and "will it work? how will we do it?" But in the end it all tied in. Am glad to work with the people I work with. With everyone involved we were able to pull it off! :)
