For some food is a comfort reliever. For others it's a form of therepy. But for most, it's used as a way to block out an emotional or mabey physical pains. But how does that compinsate for all the side effects of eating all the wrong foods. How do people born overweight explain to the world that even though they don't eat in excess, they are still overweight? These are problems that millions of americans suffer with everyday. Being overwieght or obese is not so much of a disease but more of a part of most peoples lives. People that are overweight tend to get the most judged and descriminated against. Not becuase they're a certain race, or gender, but simply because they're not "thin" or "beutiful". In my opinion i feel like you're only beutiful to others if you feel beutiful to yourself. If you think in your head that you're ugly or unacceptable then that's how the world will precive you as. But if you show up in the world with confidence and stance your saying to the world that "hey young world! here i am, love me or hate me but regardless i'm here!" I feel that every person is unique and beutiful. i hope that if your that person i am talking about in this blog, u take this blog and use it as a confidence booster becuase you truly are beutiful =)

Beautiful :) I really enjoyed reading it, I can relate pretty well. The millions of people who are over weight are sometimes overwhelmed by criticism. I'm not referring to me, however I have gain weight. Good food can be addicting, sometimes the best food feasible is fast food. What ever it might be, eating can feel very comforting at times. Food can really bring people together; just like khmu510 mentioned in his blog "Food always taste better with friends". Imagine if we have a plotluck at RYSE one day? We are so diverse, I would love to try new food. Thank you for the confidence booster :D
