so today (march 4th) there was this huge walkout all througgh california. people were walking out for budget cuts in the district and all the job losses and everything. I personally wanted to walk out but the echs ( EL CERRITO highschool) administartion was trippin so i just had to sit in the class room. But while i was in the the boring class i was texting all the people who did walk out and the described the experience to me. IT WAS PHENOMINAL! I knew so many people were walking out but most people were walking out for the wrong reasons. eiher they didn't know why they were walking out or they walked out and just went home. But it wasn't just the highschools, it was the collages, it was the people who got laid off it was basicly all of california. standing up up to the "man" standing up for whats right. how awsome is it that we could all come togther as one and make this one movement togther to become something big. to make a differecence. to have a voice. I love that we come together and did this. Even though administration wouldn't let me walk out or join the fight against the " man" i still apprciate everyone comeing togther and doing this. I knew that one day togther, we would be able to do this. and i know that this isn't like a million mkan march or anything but still. this protest had a big significant impact on me and i will remeber for at least a few more weeks+)
