pop cltures in the 90" oh my gosh...tere were so many thing that i can rember but i had to narrow it down to only a few. the first big thing i can rember is the neon colored charecters in my favorite tv shows such as power rangers,doug, and a varitety of others. I loved watching these shows when i would come back from elementry school everyday. i always wanted to be the pink power ranger but back then we couldn' afford it so i would put trash bags painted pink on me and i would tie it around my neck as if i was a superhero poweranger or something. I know it sounds kind of silly but this is a daily ritual that i would do mostly everytime i would watch the show. and yeah i'm not gonna lie i still have all m power ranger action figures =) another big thing in the 1990's was the light up velcrow shoe and the baggy overalls. oh my goodness like that was just the thing back then. esspecially if you ad light up shoes and they were power rangers brand then you were like the big kid on campus or something haha. and as far as the baggy overalls, that wasn't just a little kid thing that was a young adult and teenager thing. like everybody was wearing that back in the day =). And my final thing that i belive was the biggest thing of pop culture in the 1990's was the huge hair briads! omg the big chunky braids and the super long curve nails. at the time this was more of a teenage thing but it defitnly had an rffect on us. i can't even lie i would get my hair braided in them huge braids every 2 weeks or so..and it hurt like i don't know what but after it was finish i felt like the coolest kid in the world becuase i was one of the few little girls who got to get their hair like that so i felt pretty special. ahhh the 1990's...gooooood times =)
