so the lgbt (lesbian,gay,bisexual, transgender) prom at ryse was soo much fun. before the prom the was a drag race in the back and i will have to admit those drag queens were absoluty beutiful as in they could do my makeup any day i absoultly loved it all. after the winner was crowned everyone came outto the front to have this huge ryse prom which was one of the funnest dances i had ever been to. the music was poppin the food was on point just the whole enviorment was pretty exciting. At the end of the night i think that everyone was pretty excited how it all turned out. it ended like at 10 though so all the ryse leaders had to stay and clean up late into the night cleaning up the ryse center. the kitchen had to be done, the front had to be cleaned up all the floors had to be swept it was defintly alot of work for us to be all doing but with all of us working on it we got it done prettty fast and we were all able to get home pretty quickly. the day after the prom some freinds and i went to san fransico and went to some celebration party they were having out there to celebrate gay and transgender people, we had so much fun out there. going toall these activites made me really open up my eyes up to some of the issues gay and lesbien people are facing everyday and ive gained alot of knowledge about it all.
