Blogs :: public speaking training 101

last week we had a public speaking traning workshop for our team. i'm not going to lie at first before the session started i was like, what can she tell me that i already don't know? like really i'm not shy i can speak in front of lotz of people like that's not a problem for me. but as we got deeper into the lesson i started noticing more things about myself that i wasn't doing right that i had never noticed before. like just little things like with my hands and fingures that i would be doing, like all the stuff i was doing wrong i thought i was doing right but i wasn't. i learned how to adjust my voice and liten out to things like if i was speaking to quietly or if i was speaking to loud, i now have the skills to figure that out. i learnd how to have good stance and posture which actually helped me to speak better by opening up my diaphram. I learned to notice when i'm just staring at one particular person and when i need to be a everyone in the room. i learned alot about myself and alot about her. overall i learned more then i feel i could have learned on my own so i'm very happy we had this workshop.
