a big transition for me was the change between becoming a child to a young adult. all throughout elementry school we always wondered what we would look like when we were older. as 7 year olds we never really knew much of how things would turn out but we would of course use our imaginations to try and figure out what it would be like. we wanted to be like th teenagers so we would of course try and watch all the teenage shows like the powerangers and degrassi and all the good old shows like that. we would try to walk like them, talk like them basicly embody who they really are, becuase that's who we wanted to be. across the street from us was a highschool so in the after school program we had we would anxciously wait by the main gate to watch when all the highschoolers were going to get out of school and when the did it was like a frenzy of eyes moving simotaniously. as us, the little 4 foot somethings would watch all the big kids, the teenagers should i say. we loved how they walked, their fowl languge everything they did we wanted to do, but all we could do was wait till it was our turn. 10 years later we see hoow it turned out. hips got bigger chest and shoulders got broder, voices deepened, clothes started even getting shorter and tighter (lol). looking back on when i was 7 and comparing it to now that i'm 17 this would probly be the hardest transition i have ever been through. from being a little kid and getting drivin around and having my lunch made to driving myself around and making my own lunch. even though 10 years seems like alot of time, the amount of stuff that one has to change is simply an overwhealming process, one that even at age 17, i am still trying to figure out. but overall transition is a good thing.
