One of the biggest transitions of my life was going from grade school in Richmond ca to college in San Francisco. Everything seem so different, from the city, people, surround, culture, etc.
The transition, taught me many things, and open my mind to see the world with a different view point. I learn that College education is so much better then high school, because we get to learn about interesting thing. Looking back high school did not really tech me much compare to my first semester of college.
Being in SF by myself all the time, I learn a lot about doing things on my own. It is a learning experience of being away from family and friend. The feeling of missing them for a whole week, makes me appreciate more of the in my community.
Whit the knowledge of SF and some of is historic sites, Im always excited to take my friends out to the city for a tour. Show them places and hang out spots out side of Richmond.
Due to School, I plan to move to SF for at least a year. I want more of the college and city life.

Congratz on finishing your first year of college. I'm actually attending high school and I have many friends that are in college and from what they tell me is much similiar to what you said. I'm glad to hear that the education is way different to that of highschool. Now I'm excited to go to college and have a whole different experience. .
