sooo june is LGBTQ pride month in richmond at we celebrate it pretty big at ryse. Last year we had our first lbgtq prom..huge success lol i was crowned princess it was a great night at ryse. We also had movie nights, and a few workshops. This year were adding a few more events were going as a center to richmond city council to make june the official pride month. also well be adding some drag queen and king battles. ryse is ready to celebrate pride month with or lbgtq members and also our lbgtq alley members. i really respect the celebrations that ryse and our member are able to have together, the level of respect that everyone has for one another makes the events sooo much better. were able to celebrate each others lifestyles in a way that would not make anyone feel uncomfortable if it is not a lifestyle they do not normally associated with. I hope this years celebration is just as success ful and as much of a good time as last year..!!!!!!
