Sooo coming up is the big election and on the ballot will be the chance to vote for a new mayor of Richmond. So  the ryse center is bringing the candidates here..were giving every member of the center a chance to sit down with the potential mayors and ask them questions about what they plan to do about the issues that effect the members of our community. Many of the issues that are effecting our country are impacting our community just as much if not more.. In my opinion im hoping that the new candidates are willing to make a change to the buget cuts that are effecting our local school districts also help to provide better and more successful health care benefits for the members of the community that have lack luster medical coverage or none at all.. Also help to find better outlets to end the violence in our community besides more police and those so called silence the violence campaign that are sooo disconnected from the streets and the community that they fail before they begin. lastly bringing in more youth programs like ryse into the community and making the community into a place that the youth do not escape from to find things to do or have fun but the place they come to..
