Last Thursday,Dijital Justice Team of Ryse got the chance to let our voices be heard.We went down to Berkeley and got interviewed on camera.I had so much fun!!I didn’t participate in the round table discussion but I was part of the audience,it was so interesting hearing the topics and my fellow peer’s thoughts.The conversations were really good.I don’t believe they thought the things DJT brought to the table were expected from us.The next part of our day spent there was a…different experience.I found it more or less funny.Ha-larious.What I participated in was the singing part.We sang a song by John Denver “I Want To Live” was the song name.I know right what your thiking ,who is that??My exact thoughts!!Dan,our adult leader said it was even before his times!!Three stanzas of the song went “I want to share what I can give,I want to be,I want to live.” None of us knew we were going to sing.We were definitely hitting those vocals though.Maybe we could become famous who knows!!Haha,the song did express in a way what we want to do,we want to share what we can give which is our personal stories,information on what affects us now,what’s happening in the Bay Area.At the end of the day I definitely learned a lot.The equipment they used to record us with was really not how I pictured.They have different camera screens to show you the different camera angles.This feidtrip was entertaining ; ]] and I my brain grew a bit more.
