I learned a lot in our workshop on public speaking. You see, our speaker/teacher Laura obviously knew what she was doing. It was kind of like being in a GOOD after school special. She helped us see the faults that many make when trying to properly speak and how to correct them. It made me think, if people in our community grew up with this knowledge there wouldn't be NEARLY as many BAD performances. Talent show's where the host is like talking to the front row! Teachers who are reading directly from the book! Stand up comedians stiff as a block of wood! Politician's looking more like a statue then the statue there trying to make! You know, stuff like that. So hmmm... Maybe we should bring this workshop to the Ryse Center... Hmmm... I don't know it seems like a good idea to me. But then again, I usually do make the besty ideas. ;D And just to let you know, while writing this blog I made the appropriate hand gestures I learned from the workshop! I'm just throwing that out there. I guess I won't be needing that self help baby that my Dad gave me.

I like your hand gestures, they look soo... what can I say intellectual haha it looks like you know what you are talking about. And remember what she said... people remember your body movements more than what you actually say. If you keep those hand gestures up people will definitely remember you as the intellegent young men that you are!
