Angelique I agree slightly with that statment. It is true that it matters on the person but the school you attend prepares you for college and the real world. A student can only do soo much at a school that is of the least importance. My point is, either way it goes quality education doesn't really exist anymore.

private or public.. it doesnt matter, it depends on the mind in the school(student). Private and public are just terms for funding purposes!

It also depends on the location of the school. Any public school in an upper middle class neighborhood will be of good quality. But a public school in a low income neighborhood will most likely be poor quality and not enough adequate resources. I do agree with Junnida the quality of education has gone done and so have our funds as well. I think it correlates

The problem is that there a lots of people that don't know how bad education has gotten? Belive it or not some of the top and most prestigous colleges are facing grade inflations (receiving grades not earned to please administration) and are facing furloughs and what not. And even then some of the information taught isn't "quality education" but then again what is quality education, since I've never received it ahaha.

i sort of disagree with you. Private schools are very expensive and you are literally paying for a good education. I'm sure there are some low quality private schools, but then tuition is lower as well. In private schools you often face other issues like racism and class ism amongst students and faculty alike. but one thing that you do get is a good education. also if you seek to learn even more, private schools have a lot of resources to places they can refer you to. The only thing with private schools is money talks. So the family who donates the most money and commits the most time to volunteering at the school. Their child will likely be showed some favoritism when it comes to everyday interactions as well as disciplinary.

Neither, the existence of quality education has disappeared. But if I HAD to pick, private. They are smaller, have more money and have people that are there for a reason.

i think people in private schools tend to get a better education due to the fact that they have more resources and more money. but you are perfectly capable to get a quality education in public schools. I went to a private school for 9 years and a public school for 4 years so i have experienced both.
