Community :: prom, snowball and homecoming dances, i think we need more dances =)

in our school district ( west contra costa unified school district) we only have a few dances per year. All though highschools hold the mojority of the dances, i belive for the amount of time that we are in school, we should be able to have a few more dances. but thats just me, but what do you think?
I think there should be more field trips, when I was in High school I can count the filed trips I attended in one hand. And almost all teachers agree that the best knowledge is the one you get out of class. But dances are a great stress reliever :D How many dances do you have a year?
