I have noticed how many foreclosed houses now exist in Richmond./San Pablo. Its so sad to know that families are loosing the only thing they knew as home. The worst part that a lot of these people did not deserve to loose their houses. It was the economic crisis and housing crisis that made living situations impossible. Hard working people loosing their jobs after years, and others drowing into what seems infinite dept. For example, my family and our situation. We almost lost our house and we now owe the bank money. Our house value plummeted and now if we try to sell the house we would actually have to pay money to sell it. Its CRAZY!!! We have been living at our residence for over 9 years. My dad decided he wanted to extend the house and make it bigger. Little did he know the stock market was about to crash. He was going to make the house bigger then sell it, in the pursuit of buying a nice house in a more tranquile neighborhood. But what happened in the end was a nightmare. We were forced to loose half of our house and rent the front to strangers. We no longer go into our house through the front door but the back. My parents have worked very hard since the first day they stepped in N. American soil. This system is very corrupt and cannot wait until capitalism shuts down
