“Access to the Adult Interim Housing programs in Richmond and Concord. The Shelter Hotline is available daily between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. This number is for Shelter Intake only. For other issues related to homelessness, including general information and referral to programs other than shelter, crisis intervention and requests for motel vouchers, call the Contra Costa Crisis Hotline”

Contra Costa Crisis Center – Dial 2-1-1
“211 is the national, toll-free, three-digit phone number to call for information about all kinds of local health and social services. Calls are answered 24 hours per day, 365 days per year by trained information and referral specialists at the Contra Costa Crisis Center.”
Shelter, Inc – (925) 295-1038
“We provide one-time assistance with a portion of either the deposit or rent for rental housing in Contra Costa County. A limited amount of funds are also available to prevent mortgage foreclosure. To apply, please call 925-295-1038 one time only on Mondays, Wednesdays or Fridays (except holidays) between the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., and leave a message. Your call will be returned within two weeks. Calls made at any other time cannot be returned. If you receive TANF/CalWorks, IHSS, CAPI, or ILSP, please contact your worker at the Contra Costa County Employment and Human Services Department for assistance.”
