Hi everyone, I am forwarding along some exciting information: the RYSE Center is looking for youth to work at RYSE for scholarship money and cold hard cash!

The RYSEportal Interns: are responsible for promoting the RYSE virtual center (www.ryseportal.com) to both adults and young people in the community, at the RYSE center and RYSE events, and online. The 2 Virtual Center interns will take responsibility for leading conversations on RYSEportal via blogging, discussion boards, and giving feedback on what our community offers young people.

The Educational & Career Interns: are responsible for supporting the RYSE Academic and Career Advancement Program. These 2 interns will be leaders in developing and facilitating programming, as well as creating and connecting to education advocacy efforts in Richmond and West Contra Costa that focus on increasing educational opportunities and addressing inequalities in the educational systems.

Health & Wellness Interns: will work to support RYSE members in ensuring the center is meeting the Health and Wellness needs of all members. This will be done through a range of activities including recruitment and promotion of center programs services and events. The 2 Health & Wellness interns will work to lead advocacy and organizing efforts within Richmond and West Contra Costa County.

Youth Advisory Board (Y.A.B): will be composed of five diverse young adults who demonstrate work in service learning & volunteering. Members must be motivated team players, school/community leaders, compassionate, innovative, committed and enthusiastic. These members will be responsible for collecting feedback from RYSE participants on the programs of the Center, promoting our mission to the membership and the broader community.
