Description
In RAFA, youth in foster care, aged 16-19, live in apartments with their peers. Additionally, they have daily support from their RAFA social worker and youth development specialist and have 24-hour access to administrative staff within the agency.
The goal of the program is to provide a safe environment so that participants may learn how to live independently before emancipation. Participants work with the RAFA team to create goals in the areas of relationships and mental health, money management, budgeting, education, vocational and emancipation.
