Scandinavian Designs in downtown Berkeley is seeking a part time, weekend schedule, Sales Assistant. We sell home, office and children's furniture - assembled and unassembled - and some accessories. The Sales Assistant helps the Sales staff with phones, taking payments, assisting customers with their questions, helping with recordkeeping, and various Showroom duties . This is a great position to learn about design and color. The schedule is for Saturdays and Sundays & may also include some on call hours for hours that may come up on other days. We require strong customer service and organizational skills, flexibility, works well with others, basic PC and good math skills.
