Description
DSPS offers supportive services for students with a wide range of disabilities. Emphasis is given to those services which allow the students with disabilities to fully participate in all regular academic and vocational programs. Specific classes for skill development and learning strategies are available at both the Ocean Campus and the John Adams Campus. DSPS assists in arranging academic adjustments and/or auxiliary aids such as priority registration, specialized test arrangements, note taker arrangements, academic, personal, and employment counseling, sign language interpreters, Braille, e-text and print enlargement, adaptive furniture and equipment, and referral to campus and community resources.

Eligibility: Students who may qualify for services are: blind/visually impaired, deaf/hearing impaired, learning disabled, physically disabled, speech disabled, persons with an acquired brain injury, developmentally delayed learners or those with other medical conditions.
Hours: Ocean Campus (Fall and Spring Semester Regular Hours): Monday and Wednesday, 8AM-4:30PM (closed 12PM-12:30PM); Tuesday and Thursday, 8AM-7PM (closed 12PM-12:30PM); Friday, 8AM-2:30PM (closed 12PM-12:30PM); Saturday, 9AM-2:30PM; John Adams Campus (Fall and Spring Semester Regular Hours): Monday and Wednesday, 8AM-4PM (closed 12PM-1PM); Tuesday and Thursday, 8AM-6PM (closed 12PM-1PM); Friday, 8AM-12PM
