SFSU is a comprehensive 4-year university. With numerous educational programs, the university offers Bachelor’s degrees in 111 areas, Master’s degrees in 95 areas, and in fall 2007, introduced its first independent doctoral program, a Doctorate in Education program. A joint Master of Science in Physical Therapy is offered jointly with University of California, San Francisco, as are two doctorates – the Doctor of Physical Therapy and Doctor of Physical Therapy Science. In addition, the University offers 27 credential programs and 34 certificate programs. The university also offers on-campus housing, with a multitude of options, numerous financial aid programs, and many activism and recreational opportunities for students.
